All Companions of the Loyal Legion and their guests are cordially invited to the Indiana Commandery’s Spring meeting. This quarter’s gathering will take place in Terre Haute, Indiana on Saturday, May 30, 2026.
This will be a special day that will commence with the grave marking ceremony of
Original Companion 1LT/RQM John G. Shryer (1845-1904), Insignia #13237, Indiana Commandery, Field & Staff, 97th Indiana Volunteer Infantry.
This event will include participation from Loyal Legion Companions, the SUVCW Department of Indiana, the Sons of Veterans Reserve 27th Indiana Honor Guard, local veterans’ organizations and various state and local elected officials. Local network television and print media also have agreed to cover the event.
