The Loyal Legion Memorial Fund, though closely connected in mission with the
Military Order of the Loyal Legion, is a separate trust fund entity, granted Sec. 501(c)(3)
status under the Internal Revenue Code. It exists as the philanthropic vehicle by which
the Order as a whole can advance its historical and educational mission.

The Memorial Fund underwrites the cost of producing and distributing the Loyal Legion
Historical Journal; provides financial backing for commemorative events; and makes
contributions to worthy organizations across the country — such as the American
Battlefield Trust, the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library Foundation, and the
Gettysburg Foundation — that share the Order’s interests and goals. Gifts to the
Memorial Fund are tax-deductible.

Your generous support of the Memorial Fund furthers the aims of the Order, and
enables the Loyal Legion to be a valued and visible organization to others. Gifts of cash
