The Loyal Legion Memorial Fund (LLMF), though connected in mission with the Military Order of the Loyal Legion of the United States, is a separate and distinct trust fund entity granted Sec. 501(c)(3) status under the Internal Revenue Code. It exists as the philanthropic vehicle by which the Order, as a whole, can advance its historical and educational mission.
The LLMF underwrites the cost of production and distribution of the Loyal Legion Historical Journal; provides financial backing for commemorative events; helps reimburse Companions and groups for the cost of marking the unmarked graves of Original Companions of the Order; and makes contributions to worthy organizations across the country — such as the American Battlefield Trust and the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library Foundation — that share the LLMF’s interests and goals.
Gifts to the LLMF are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Please contact your tax professional for advice regarding your specific tax situation.
Your generous support of the LLMF furthers the aims of the Order, and enables the Loyal Legion to be a valued and visible organization to others. Gifts can be made using one of the options below:
